“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” – Eleanor Roosevelt |

Hi, The theme for our recent hackathon was “Vision 2025” – building something that will be relevant and useful in three years’ time. Lots of great ideas – many around Web3, voice-based and multi-device interactions and connecting multiple services through APIs for powerful solutions. I don’t know about you, but I get excited about fancy new ideas. And then I have to stop myself. I have to question: Will we lose diamonds in search of gold? Will chasing a new opportunity distract us from what’s already working well? Eventually, proving to be a bad choice? Yes, I do chase shiny objects from time to time, but challenging myself with gold (valuable) vs diamond (already working, can be more valuable) has helped me a lot. If you’re searching for futuristic opportunities, take a pause. Can you use what you already have for better results? For example, how would you use email marketing better? Let’s grab some diamonds. |
