An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

Hi there,

Ever hit “send” on an email campaign and immediately felt a wave of panic?

Maybe you forgot a link, sent it to the wrong list, or realized there was a glaring typo in the subject line

We’ve all been there. 🙋

In fact, it happened to me too when I accidentally sent an incomplete campaign to a huge batch of subscribers. Talk about a face-palm moment! 🤦

But that mistake sparked an idea..

Introducing a Safety Net for Your Email Campaigns

That “near miss” got me thinking about how we could prevent those “oh shoot!” moments for our users.  So we’ve rolled out a new improvement to Icegram Express that does exactly that

  • Smaller First Batches: Instead of sending your entire campaign out at once, Icegram Express will now send the first two batches to a smaller portion of your list (10% to be exact). This gives you a chance to catch any errors before they reach your entire audience.

  • And to help you double-check everything, we’ve also added a confirmation pop-up that shows your total list size and other key details before you hit send. Think of it as an insurance policy for your email campaigns. A little extra peace of mind, just in case 😉. So after this, the rest of the batches will be sent at the normal speed.

  • Pause and Edit: Spot a mistake ? No problem! You can pause the campaign, make the necessary changes, and then resume sending.

  • Automatic and Effortless: This is a built-in feature and works automatically, so you don’t have to configure anything.

But wait, there’s more!

Here’s another pro tip to avoid email mishaps: Always send a test email to yourself or a small test list before hitting “send” on your main campaign.

This allows you to see exactly how the email will look in your subscribers’ inboxes and catch any last-minute errors
