What you don’t see about yourself can control your life. Uncovering blind spots opens the door to real growth.

Deepak Chopra

Hi there,

Last week, I went on this awesome offsite tour in Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. The place has stunning architecture, delicious food, and a ton of team activities.

One of the team sessions we had was about blind spots.

We kicked things off by talking about how we all have these parts of ourselves we just can’t see and even asked each other for feedback to figure out their blind spots—super eye-opening!

This made me realize that blind spots aren’t just a personal thing; they pop up in email marketing too!

Just like getting feedback from others can help us see our blind spots, there are ways to spot and fix those hidden gaps in our campaigns.

What Are Email Marketing Blind Spots?

Imagine this: you’re sending email after email, convinced your strategy is working. But engagement rates are low, conversions are flat, and you’re scratching your head, wondering what’s going wrong.

The truth is, just like personal blind spots, marketing blind spots are often invisible to us but glaringly obvious to others—like your subscribers! Here are a few examples:

  • Weak Subject Lines: You think they’re great, but your readers might find them dull or irrelevant.
  • Poor Segmentation: Sending the same message to your entire list? Your readers may not feel it’s relevant to them.
  • Inconsistent Messaging: If your tone or content doesn’t align with your brand, subscribers may lose trust.

But don’t worry—once you spot these blind spots, you can take action to turn things around.

How Icegram Express helps you spot and fix blind spots

Here’s how you can uncover those hidden issues with Icegram Express:

  1. Refine your audience segments: Instead of blasting the same message to everyone, use Icegram Express to create targeted segments based on user behavior, interests, and preferences.
  2. Experiment with subject lines: Use A/B testing to find out what your audience loves to open. Data never lies!
  3. Track and optimize: Icegram Express provides detailed campaign analytics—so you can see what’s working, and what isn’t, and make improvements on the go.
  4. Automate smartly: Set up sequences like welcome emails, cart reminders, and sales follow-ups, ensuring you always stay relevant without the extra effort.

I hope you find these tips useful and can spot and correct blindspots. And if you wish, we take a masterclass on any of the above topics. I will see if I can arrange something educational.
