Select Elements to Copy While Duplicating Post or page

The Post / Page Duplicate by Icegram plugin now gives you greater control over what gets copied when duplicating posts or pages. You can now choose specific attributes you want to carry over — keeping your workflow efficient and clean.

How to Configure Duplicate Settings:

  1. From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Duplicate Posts & Pages > Settings in the left sidebar.

  2. You’ll see a list of attributes grouped into three categories:

    • Essentials: Title, Content, Slug, Excerpt, Status, Date, Author etc.
    • Design: Featured Image, Template, Format
    • Others: Category, Tag

  1. Check the elements you want to copy when duplicating a post or page. For example, you might want to duplicate only the content, featured image, and template.
  2. Once done, click the Save button to apply your preferences.

Why This is Useful:

  1. Avoid clutter by skipping unwanted data.
  2. Maintain consistency for templates or layouts.
  3. Save time by pre-selecting only what's relevant for your next post/page.

This feature adds flexibility and gives you full control over your content duplication process.
