Select Elements to Copy While Duplicating Post or page
The Post / Page Duplicate by Icegram plugin now gives you greater control over what gets copied when duplicating posts or pages. You can now choose specific attributes you want to carry over — keeping your workflow efficient and clean.
How to Configure Duplicate Settings:
From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Duplicate Posts & Pages > Settings in the left sidebar.
You’ll see a list of attributes grouped into three categories:
- Essentials: Title, Content, Slug, Excerpt, Status, Date, Author etc.
- Design: Featured Image, Template, Format
- Others: Category, Tag
- Check the elements you want to copy when duplicating a post or page. For example, you might want to duplicate only the content, featured image, and template.
- Once done, click the Save button to apply your preferences.
Why This is Useful:
- Avoid clutter by skipping unwanted data.
- Maintain consistency for templates or layouts.
- Save time by pre-selecting only what's relevant for your next post/page.
This feature adds flexibility and gives you full control over your content duplication process.
